Recently, the 2026 Hunan Province Emergency Drill for Breach Sealing and Emergency Response, organized by the Hunan Provincial Emergency Management Committee Office and hosted by the Hunan Branch of China Aneng First Bureau, was held at Suliaoyuan on the Changsha section of the Xiang River. Piling vessels and motorized pontoon bridges developed by China Harzone, participated in the breach sealing drill as core equipment, while portable obstacle-crossing equipment made a striking appearance in the static display area.

This drill simulated a major emergency in which water levels at Suliaoyuan section of the Xiang River exceeded the warning level, resulting in a sudden breach approximately 8m wide. In accordance with real-world operational requirements, the drill focused on key phases such as patrols and emergency reporting, hydrological monitoring and forecasting, and breach containment.

In the core exercise “Breach Sealing,” a three-step strategy was employed: “rapid construction of a headwall, pile driving to divert the flow, and closing the breach to restore the embankment”, featuring a practical application of “steel sheet pile sealing technology in flowing water conditions.” During the pile driving and diversion phase, two specialized piling vessels docked steadily at the breach. Piles were driven from the center outward, interlocking tightly to form a continuous wall that reduced water impact by over 95%, thereby completely resolving the challenge of pile driving and diversion in flowing water conditions. During the closure and embankment restoration phase, operations proceeded according to the “dual-brace advancement, layered placement, and precise closure” approach. Motorized pontoon bridges were used to hoist sandbags, boulders, and other materials, establishing a “lifeline on the water,” which ultimately enabled the successful and precise closure of the breach. The results of the exercise were unanimously recognized by observing leaders at all levels, industry experts, and the participating rescue teams.

In recent years, China Harzone has been fully committed to fulfilling its corporate mission of “taking emergency safeguard as its own task and contributing to human safety.” By closely aligning with real-world emergency rescue scenarios and focusing on the research and development of emergency rescue technology and equipment, the Company has driven the commercialization of major scientific and technological innovations and their deployment in actual operations, fully demonstrating its professional capabilities in supporting national emergency rescue efforts.
