On April 24, Wuhan 2026 “Emergency Mission” Comprehensive Flood Control and Rescue Drill was held in the southern section of Tianxingzhou Riverside Park in Hongshan District, Wuhan. Attendees included Yuan Ye, Member of the Standing Committee of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee and Commander of the Garrison Command; Xu Changyou, Party Secretary of the Hubei Fire and Rescue Mobile Corps; Wang Changping, Deputy Secretary-General of the Wuhan Municipal People’s Government; and Chen Cheng, Second-Level Inspector of the Hubei Provincial Department of Emergency Management. As a professional rescue force making its debut, the China Harzone Comprehensive Rescue Team not only demonstrated the robust capabilities of its equipment but also highlighted the sense of mission and responsibility of a central state-owned enterprise.
Closely aligned with real-world operational needs, the drill featured 19 practical scenarios across nine major categories, including command and decision-making, emergency response, clearing roads blocked by “three disruptions” (power, water, and communication), geological disaster management, personnel search and rescue, and emergency repairs to embankments. The exercise involved 35 professional teams, including the Hubei Fire and Rescue Mobile Corps and the China Aneng Wuhan Rescue Base, with over 1,100 rescue personnel participating. More than 300 units of advanced equipment were deployed, and the event was conducted simultaneously across one main venue and two sub-venues.
China Harzone’s diverse equipment performed exceptionally well during the exercise: Rigid all-terrain vehicles took the lead, rapidly laying a 100-meter emergency passageway on muddy and damaged road sections, efficiently opening up critical rescue routes to ensure the smooth entry of large-scale emergency response equipment and prioritize the clearance of lifeline access; The portable obstacle-crossing equipment proved highly efficient and convenient, capable of erecting a 20-meter emergency bridge within five minutes, enabling rescue personnel to swiftly cross turbulent waters and reach disaster-stricken areas; Additionally, various types of equipment—including powered pontoon bridges, helicopter landing pads, and a 75-meter modular emergency bridge—were simultaneously deployed in practical exercises, comprehensively demonstrating the Company’s systematic equipment capabilities and cutting-edge technological advantages in comprehensive emergency response and multi-scenario rescue operations.
As one of the professional forces dedicated to national emergency rescue support, China Harzone has consistently upheld its corporate mission of “taking emergency response cause as its own task and contributing to human safety.” The debut appearance of the China Harzone Comprehensive Rescue Team at the Wuhan flood control drill marks a significant step forward for the Company in participating in local emergency rescue efforts and strengthening regional safety defenses, safeguarding the lives and property of the people through concrete actions.
