Powered Pontoon Bridge Rushes to Aid Baise, Guangxi

2025-10-13

date time:

Guangxi suffered from relentless rainfall in October, with severe secondary disasters triggered by heavy downpours across multiple regions. Following its deployment on October 10 to address embankment emergencies at the North Bridge over the Yongjiang River in Nanning, Guangxi, the power pontoon bridge developed by China Harzone swiftly rushed to Baise, Guangxi on October 17 to provide emergency support.

Affected by the combined impact of Typhoons Ragasa, Bualoi, and Matmo along with their residual cloud systems, Baise City in Guangxi experienced heavy rainfall. Multiple villages were flooded, river levels surged dramatically, and some roads were cut off due to landslides and collapses, posing a severe threat to the lives and property of local residents. On October 17, a sudden seepage occurred at Duobang Reservoir in Duomu Village, Debao County, Baise City, Guangxi. China Aneng Group immediately activated its emergency response mechanism, dispatching 33 staff with 16 sets of equipment (including a 4-section powered pontoon bridge) to the scene.

The powered pontoon bridge developed by China Harzone has participated in numerous flood control and emergency rescue operations in recent years, enhancing the comprehensive capabilities of emergency response teams, safeguarding people's lives and property, and earning the title of “rescue aircraft carrier”.
