At 11:00 a.m. on August 9, the China Anneng Rescue Team completed the sealing of two breaches totaling approximately 60 meters in Tumoteyou County, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia with the aid of the motorized pontoon bridges and pile-driving vessels developed by China Harzone.

The first 14-meter breach was swiftly sealed using traditional land-based backfilling methods. The access road leading to the second breach, approximately 1 kilometer away, had been submerged and saturated by floodwaters, rendering its foundation too soft to support vehicle traffic. To expedite sealing, the command center decided to employ a combined approach of “waterway transport + waterborne deployment + helicopter airdrops.” Utilizing advanced equipment including motorized pontoon bridges, pile-driving vessels, and amphibious excavators, the closure operation was executed collaboratively. After round-the-clock efforts, the breach was successfully sealed at 11:00 on August 9.

During the breach sealing operation, China Harzone played a crucial role in transporting large quantities of supplies and materials, providing temporary storage, and facilitating waterborne transportation. The combined use of pile-driving vessels, amphibious excavators and helicopters significantly enhanced the efficiency of the breach sealing efforts.
