Under the influence of heavy rainfall, flash floods broke out at Qiuzigou Township, Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. The road near the Danyangshugou Village was washed away, and a 42-meter gap was formed. As a result, four villages were isolated, in urgent need of rescue.
On August 21st, professional rescue forces from Dalian, Liaoning Province, which were drawn from a detachment of the first motorized general unit of the armed police, rushed to the disaster area, carrying lighting vehicles, emergency mechanized bridges and other large-scale equipment. After rapid mobility and overnight erection, around 9:00 p.m. of the same day, the 51-meter emergency mechanized bridge, which was developed and manufactured by China Harzone, was completely erected, and the rescue channel connecting the four isolated villages was opened. Subsequently, a large number of urgently needed living materials and rescue equipment were entering the disaster area through the roadway, gaining valuable time for the rescue operation.
