On May 21, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) successfully held the first “International Pontoon Day” in Chibi, Hubei Province. With the theme of “Taking the Emergency Safeguard as Our Own Task, and Contributing to Human Security”, the event was attended by nearly 200 representatives from the consulates of more than 10 countries, including Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Belarus, Tanzania, Peru, Timor-Leste and Malaysia and from relevant Chinese government departments.

This even was organized and guided by the International Cooperation Department of CSSC and undertaken by China Harzone. Authoritative experts from departments of emergency management and transportation and the emergency response industry made in-depth explanations around the themes of “future planning of the government in public safety and transportation security”, “new products, new technologies, new visions and new cooperation in emergency response equipment”, etc. Major domestic and foreign customers shared their experiences and discussed cooperation on actual emergency response cases, product expectations and future cooperation direction to promote the development of emergency response industry.
