On Jan. 8, 2021, the Thai Engineering Corps erected a mechanized bridge manufactured by China Harzone in flood-hit Yara Prefecture, Thailand, which guaranteed the safe passage of over 200 local residents.
It is reported that since Nov. 25, 2020, 2,318 villages and more than 260,000 households in 70 counties have suffered from floods due to heavy rainfall in Southern Thailand. Continuous heavy rains and floods have severely affected the traffic there. Moreover, a number of bridges and roads were washed away, blocking the traffic.
In the face of floods, the first priority is to restore the blocked traffic and evacuate the victims. For this purpose, the Disaster Prevention and Relief Department of Thailand carried out rescue operations in cooperation with the local military and related agencies. On Jan. 8, 2021, the well-trained Thai troops skillfully erected a mechanized bridge to transfer the affected residents and property and alleviate the then-current flood situation quickly.
In recent years, a mechanized bridge manufactured by China Harzone has played a crucial role in flood relief in Thailand, guaranteeing the passage of relief roads, the transportation of relief supplies and evacuation of affected people. It has been reported by mainstream media in Thailand for many times and highly praised by the Thai people.
