Harzone Manufactured Seven Beiley Bridges Within Seven Days for Wenchuan Earthquake

May 12, 2008, an 8.0 magnitude of earthquake occurred in Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province. As a result, the roads in the earthquake territory were damaged seriously; over 400,000 people were in trouble. Therefore, pontoon bridges and highway steel bridges needed be built as soon as possible in order to access to the disaster area.


After receiving the call on May 18, 2008 from Headquarters of the General Staff and the Disaster Relief and First Aid Office of National Development & Reform Commission, Harzone immediately began to manufacture steel bridges as required without any hesitation or talking about any condition. 


Time is life! The workers raced against the clock with three shifts a day and without leave on weekend. A.M.4:00 May 20, the first steel bridge was completed. Only seven days later, all the other bridges were completed and delivered to the disaster area.
