80-meter-span fast bridge is a key project of our Company. With high technical content, complex technology, strict requirement for precision in matching of spare parts and great difficulty in manufacturing, this product has got great attention from management personnel and production team.

Business Division has decided to let all assembly and welding teams of the second structure workshop participate in manufacture of 80-meter bridge. Ma Haiqing’s fifth assembly and welding team and Sun Xiaopeng’s first assembly and welding team jointly manufactured the middle section of the bridge. Deng Tao’s sixth assembly and welding team and Jiang Ping’s second assembly and welding team completed the endmost section of the bridge. The third and fourth assembly and welding team were responsible for manufacture of endmost guiding beam and middle guiding beam. With the issue of production scheduling order, six production team leaders led their team members to fight for the fixed goal day and night.

The fifth assembly and welding team was not only responsible for assembly of mechanical modular bridge, but also responsible for assembly and welding of parts of 80-meter-span fast bridge. Team leader Ma Haiqing led his team to work for several consecutive Sundays and nicely completed assembly task of 4 sets of mechanical modular bridge, which made him become the model of all teams. During manufacture of middle section of the bridge, Ma Haiqing’s team and Sun Xiaopeng’s team cooperated well and worked energetically, and only spent three days and three nights moving the first middle section of the bridge under the jig. They completed the task 2 days in advance and all critical dimensions met the design requirements. Workers of these two teams were overjoyed to see the fruits of their labor. Sleepless nights have brought about the best return. Ma Kun and Huang Jiawei excitedly took group photos with this “giant”. Production rhythm was accelerating step by step. After the first piece was moved under the jig successfully, the second piece and third piece were moved under the jig.
