Seven Beiley Bridges made by China Harzone in Seven Days to Urgently Rescue Wenchuan Earthquake

An earthquake measuring 8.0 on the Richter scale struck Wenchuan, Sichuan Province on May 12th, 2008. The roads in the earthquake region were seriously damaged. More than 400,000 people were stuck. The rapid erection and connection of pontoon bridges and highway steel bridges became the lifeline to approach disaster areas for rescue at the earliest time.

On May 18th, 2008, China Harzone received calls from the Heaquarters of the General Staff, NDRC Disaster Relief Department to ask the company to urgently supply eight emergency steel bridges. This is a heavy responsibility as well as an honorable mission. China Harzone carried forward its military spirit and spared no efforts to assume its social responsibility as the No.1 brand of Chinese traffic emergency security equipment.

There is not a moment to be lost. The whole company started tense production immediately. All workers gave up rest days on weekends and they worked in three shifts around the clock. The first steel bridge was finished on 4:00 a.m. on May 20th. The last steel bridge was finished in the afternoon on May 27th. These eight emergency highway steel bridges contained the passion of our employees and they were delivered to Wenchuan, Sichuan Province as scheduled.
