CHIC Signed Uganda BIRARA Bridge Project Contract

On November 14, deputy general manager Liu Changqi, on behalf of CHIC, signed BIRARA bridge contract with National Highway Authority of Uganda in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. Main leaders of National Highway Authority of Uganda and several major local media attended the contract signing ceremony.


CHIC will be responsible for the design, production and construction of this project, which will be officially launched in early December of this year and will last 18 months.


The project is located at RUKUNGIRI district in western Uganda, including a 32-meter plate girder bridge and a total of 10 km approach road on two sides for connecting RUKUNGIRI and KANUNGU district. After this project is completed, the distance between these two districts will be greatly shortened, and it will provide a great convenience for local residents. (Song Qinglei, Li Wuzhou)


The project is the first general contract in Uganda signed by Overseas Engineering Department of our Company.
