CSIC Assessed Grade A for 9 Consecutive Years

On August 3, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council published the assessment results of principals of central enterprises for their tenure 2010-2012 (the third tenure) and their performance in 2012 as well as the list of central enterprises winning special awards. CSIC was assessed Grade A both in performance check for tenure 2010-2012 and 2012 performance check, and won excellent enterprise award and technological innovation award for tenure 2010-2012. Up until now, CSIC has been assessed Grade A in annual performance check for nine consecutive years and three consecutive tenures. Although dozens of central enterprises are assessed as Grade A each year, few of them get A for nine consecutive years.


For years, CSIC has been earnestly implementing a series of guidelines and policies of central government, following the development mode of fixing miliary and civil purposes, adhering to the established strategy, continuously promoting structural adjustment, actively transforming development mode, attaching great importance to risk prevention, consistently enhancing value lifting ability and sustainable development ability, harmonizing military business, ship business and non-ship business, lifting economic scale, profitability and comprehensive strength, and realizing the value conservation and appreciation of state-owned assets. 


In 2012, in spite of complicated economic situations and downturn ship market, CSIC makes progress while ensuring stability, enhances innovation and adjusts industrial structure, thus achieving excellent results. The revenue of CSIC in 2012 increases 7.7% year on year and total profits rise 7.8% year on year. Especially, Liaoning CV, which was researched and manufactured under the leadership of CSIC, was put into use; and Jiaolong submersible submerges more than 7000 meters.
